All of these 5 stars are bias and not giving true feedback on the lack of pain management for IUD's that Dr. Ardalan refuses to offer. It is gaslighting that women's pain is just "discomfort" or "tolerable" is a lie. A IUD it is the single most painful procedure right up there with medication free child birth. Ibuprofen is not enough, women's experience in pain and treatment are often overlooked as if we can tough it out or we only experience an inconvenience . Men get local anesthetic & opiods, women get subpar pain management because of gender bias, historical under representation in medical research, which is horrific given Dr. Ardalan is a female doctor. She is no different in minimizing pain to psychological factors for pain management. I expected more advocacy and patient care from a female physician with all of the studies proving otherwise. She was dismissive in a consultation for HRT, gaslighting that symptoms were a result of anxiety verses having any validity if it did not fit in a box where she would take my concerns and discomfort more serious.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ardalan for about 5 years. The last two years with only needing to come in for annual exams to see the nurse practitioner Yenny Salim. The dreaded paps are not something I look forward to and actually I love how quick the NP is vs Dr. Ardalan when when it comes to physical exams. I am 47 and had been experiencing textbook, perimenopausal symptoms; hair thinning, irregular periods, insomnia, mood swings, increased anxiety, decreased libido, brain fog, fatigue, heart palpitations. I felt more stress than normal, and went from 128 lbs to 145, with a normal diet and exercise routine as well as suddenly having slightly elevated BP. High blood pressure does not run in my family, I do not drink or smoke and eat a balanced diet, so as you can imagine I was confused. Dr. Ardalan is the only one that does HRT consultations, so after some research to accept it may be time, I made an appointment to be immediately dismissed. I was told since I wasn't having hot flashes or night sweats she doesn't normally give HRT, not taking into consideration that not every woman experiences night sweats and hot flashes. I was gaslit me further that I was too young, offering me anxiety meds and hormonal testing. We segued into questions about me not having a period since Dec 2025 and it was the end of Feb 2026. She ordered a pregnancy test; negative. I haven't been on birth control for about 2 years. She asked if I was using condoms, "No". She seemed confused that I wasn't sexually active, not only is the dating pool a cesspool, I have zero desire. I confirm that I am celibate. She recommends that should be on something to prevent pregnancy and we discussed me getting back on the Mirena IUD, that has some progesterone which would help with my symptoms as well as protect me from pregnancy. I ask about pain management in the placement of the IUD. Even in 2026 after multiple studies from the National Institute of Health, Harvard Health, the Washington Post, the American Medical Women's Association, I could go on about the lack of women's pain management, she suggests Ibuprofen for the "discomfort". I am insistent it is an extremely painful procedure for me, that and I felt like I was going to pass out the last time. I advocate for myself that ibuprofen is nowhere near sufficient for that procedure. After pressing her more she did offer something to "soften" the cervix, but again nothing for pain management. Why is it for a vasectomy men get, local anesthesia like lidocaine , they are offered opioids and sedatives like Diazepam at the slightest discomfort or thought of pain. Women get gaslighted as though we either don't feel pain, it's slight discomfort, or we can tough it out, no that shit hurts. Dr. Ardalan in the 5 years I've been a patient has been no different, she has dismissed my symptoms, the idea that I am in active prerimenopause, or that my pain warrants anything more than an OTC medication. She doesn't seem up to date, or interested in studies that recommend that women seek HRT treatment ideally before age 60 and if possible 10 years before the onset of full menopause. Nor did she seem versed in not only the need for women's pain management, but the importance. My experience with Dr. Ardalan has been beyond disappointing ESPECIALLY given she is a female doctor. It is why I chose her and you'd think she'd not only relate, but be an advocate for her female patients. I thought she would listen to my concerns to be seen and heard and maybe make some changes to how she has operated in the past. I am currently looking for another doctor, but unfortunately feel that this is a systemic issue due to gender bias, lack of sex research, stereotypes, intersectionality and normalizing pain to dismiss women's credibility, and pain tolerance in women's health. I did complete my hormone testing confirming my gut feeling, that my it is not a thyroid, glucose, or cortisol issue (all normal) that indeed my estrogen (estradiol/fillitropin) levels are that of a women that is post menopausal. If I were trying to have a baby, I'd be infertile. My case is individual, it is not a one size fits all case, and my concerns are valid , I will be following up and advocating for myself for HRT treatment, as well as pain management as every patient should to speak up to help others who find themselves in a similar state of frustration and disappointment with level of care. It is the responsibility of Dr. Ardalan and ALL doctors to prioritize patient care wither it is staying up to date by attending conventions, classes, and further education on women's health and studies that are saying there is a clear disparity in women's experience and treatment to make changes within her practice. It is barbaric to have a doctor, especially a female one refuse pain management beyond Tylenol or Ibuprofen for an IUD in 2026.

My adult autistic daughter and I came in for our well women exams and the doctor was wonderful with my daughter. She went over everything step by step and made sure she could stop at any time if she became uncomfortable. My daughter felt comfortable with her to complete her first well women exam. I highly recommend this practice as the staff and doctor were all very welcoming.

The office is new and clean. The staff is friendly. Office Parking is easy.
I did wish the doctor was a bit more friendly/personal and wanting to discuss my history prior to the exam.
The exam was painful and she was aware of that and took steps, but was a bit shocked. While uncomfortable in the past, never had pain before in any exam with any other doctor, nor mild bleeding afterwards. If she had talked to me first, it may have been helpful to know I have not had children and other conditions.
Yet the subsequent biopsy was painless and felt safe during the process. Thr report came by phone call and wa I. Time friendly and informative.
Originally I , was looking for a more personal and inquiry touch. The personal came with subsequent visits.
Her medical background appears to be thorough and the experience is helpful. She was recommended by a friend.

I’m grateful for the medical care I received at Women Elite Care during my 9 months pregnancy, but I had a negative experience with one staff member, Michelle, who handles scheduling.
I was referred to her by Brianna from the disability filing staff. When I called, she asked what the appointment was for. I explained that I wanted to speak with Dr. Ardalan, but she continued to question why I needed to speak with the doctor and what the reason was. The tone felt unwelcoming, and I felt uncomfortable having to justify a simple request for an appointment.
When I asked if a request could be made to start my disability at 35 weeks instead of 36, I made it clear that I was only asking for the possibility to be discussed with the doctor. I was told it was not possible and was not given the opportunity to fully explain, even though I had previously gone through a similar process at this clinic.
During the call, I was placed on hold, and the call was disconnected before the concern was addressed. This added to the feeling that the issue was left unresolved.
She also brought up two previously missed appointments during the conversation. Those absences were related to important circumstances, including a car accident filing and my children being sick. What was most disappointing was not being told no, but the lack of empathy and professionalism during the interaction.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as pregnant patients deserve respectful and compassionate communication.

Today was my first visit to Women Elite Care and I found the office to be very clean, up-to-date and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and had even written “Welcome” in pink on the paper covering the exam table. Dr. Ardalan is very professional and took the time to explain everything. I didn’t feel like she was rushed. She is very thorough and knowledgeable while at the same time being gentle and caring.

Dr. Ardalan saved my life in 2019 after an ovarian torsion rupture. The follow-up was excellent and she showed genuine care for my progress and monitoring of my other ovary. Her passion for women issues and the care her and her team show their patients makes her the best OBGYN in the world.
