Dr. Maryam Ardalan chose her life long career path when she was only thirteen years old. Her passion for helping heal the members of her community made her pursue medical training. She attended the West Azerbaijan University of Medical Science in Iran. During her medical externship, she began to love the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She was fascinated by how educating and treating woman throughout their life would help them live long and healthy lives.
Once she finished her internship, Dr. Ardalan completed four years of residency training as an OB-GYN. She graduated with honors amongst her fellow class mates and began her work in diagnosing and treating infertile couples. Throughout the years she has participated in multiple research projects involving infertility.
After completion of residency training in Iran, she began working in the rural areas of Northwestern Iran, she than later had the opportunity to participate in a clinical rotation in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Austria for a year.
Upon finishing her rotation in Austria, she immigrated to the US with her family. Her love and dedication to Obstetrics and Gynecology, gave her the drive to complete the Medical Board Examinations successfully and after re-entering four years of residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical center, she started her position at UCSF-Fresno as an assistant professor in the department of OB-GYN for two years, where she participated in teaching medical students and residents. After those two years of Academic practice, she then moved to Valencia.
Dr. Ardalan's mission is to provide quality care to her patients, in a professional, supportive, and loving environment.
She is a member of many medical societies including AMA (American Medical Association), ACOG (American Academy of Obstetrics and Gynecology), and AAGL (American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists)
